OUR HOMEWORK POLICY
In our room we have homework everyday of the week, Monday through Thursday, as needed. Homework is a scaffolding activity to reinforce skills learned in class. I assign it as needed, not to keep students busy. Projects will also be completed at home although I like to start them in class. Because winter vacation is lengthy, I usually assign a homework packet an a book to read. To ensure that homework is an educational activity, I highly recommend that a parent supervise the student's work.
